In April of 2011, 7 YWAM staff from in Ensenada including myself, drove 1900 miles, Ensenada, Mexico to New Orleans, Louisiana to lead a group of 30 youth from Canada.
What did we get up to?

• We hung out, told bible stories and loved on kids in the broken and spiritually burdened communities. 
• We repaired a house that still, 6 years after hurricane Katrina, had very bad water damage. On that house, we replaced a large portion of the roof and one of the walls.
• Every morning and night we had session which consisted of worship and a message, I was the worship leader for the week that we were there, and one morning even got the chance to speak!

In March of the year 2009, 8 YWAM staff from here in Ensenada, including myself, flew down to San Jose, Costa Rica to aid with the Earth Quake relief that happened there.
What did we get up to?

• The Earth Quake in San Jose left houses in ruins and we were the first group to arrive, so our job was to begin building and repairing houses that had been destroyed.
• We began the rebuilding of 3-4 houses.
• Many family's whose houses had been destroyed were all living in a gym until they found another place to stay, our team helped serve them in anyways we could. 
• And lastly in the little free time that we had, we did door to door evangelism.

For 2 or 3 years our Campus here in Ensenada was partnered with another campus in Tecate, which is about 2 hours north of Ensenada. And from time to time I would take the drive north to help with:

• Leading Worship
• Building homes
• Help run a program called 'Mission Adventures'
